The Gerald Martin Construction Management team brings extensive expertise to Spaceport America, with a group of specialists experienced in the areas of aviation facilities, Fire/EMS facilities servicing aeronautic and rocket facilities, and in working with NASA.

Gerald Martin Construction Management will act as the owner’s representative for the New Mexico Spaceport Authority (NMSA) during the construction of Spaceport America.

Spaceport America’s construction will happen in two phases. Phase I is the programming stage including roads, utilities, etc. Phase II will involve the full-fledged design. The Foster + Partners and URS team has won an international competition to build the first private spaceport in the world - The New Mexico Spaceport Authority Building.

Foster + Partners worked in partnership with URS Corporation to design Spaceport America. Foster + Partners is an international studio for architecture, planning and design.
