Marvel
Demonstrating their versatility, DMJM are also the masterminds behind Marvel Superhero Island in Orlando, Florida.
On June 13, 2006, New Mexico announced that DMJM has been selected to provide architecture and engineering services for Spaceport America. Among the firm’s extensive project list is Marvel Superhero Island in Orlando, Florida; the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory in Washington, D.C.; and renovation work on two of the country’s largest airports, JFK and LAX. New Mexico-based design consultants are Dekker Perich Sabatini and Molzen-Corbin & Associates.

Spaceport America’s construction will happen in two phases. Phase I is the programming stage including roads, utilities, etc. Phase II will involve the full-fledged design. The project will integrate building materials and methods that promote environmental quality, economic vitality, and social benefit.
