A New Mexico Strength

New Mexico continues to play a pivotal role in maturing technologies from the drawing board to real operational capability. The state boasts developmental and operational test and evaluation centers that cover everything from rapid prototyping of space vehicles to the latest jet fighter aircraft. Scale is key—from the smallest microscopic MEMS sensors to large-scale rocket boosters, New Mexico has the T&E facilities that can evaluate the latest in solar technology or test the next generation of orbital access.
