New Mexico’s Heritage
New Mexico has a proud history and culture of creative thinking. Brining ideas from dream to reality has been one of the State’s strengths for more than half a century. The R&D heritage of the state can be traced back from the early days of nuclear weapons research at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the infancy of the Apollo program at White Sands Missile Range to more modern spacecraft, solar and renewable energies, and hosts of other technologies of today.
